My Response to 1 in 88 Can't Wait

I am not what you think I am. You may think I am hopeless, but that is not true. I love my life, even with autism. One cannot say it is either blessing or curse. It is a little bit of both.

It is a curse when:
Radical honesty slips out and hurts someone
You misinterpret instructions and everyone calls you stupid
Everyone seems to have something bad to say about you
Nay sayers who never let you do anything

It is a blessing because:
It makes you think on a higher level.
It lets you see yourself in others
Whatever you do you do it passionately
I know words you might not.
It makes me realize how disparaging some things like *insert profane word for behind* burger or "Oh pity the autistic people. They have no future anyway," can be.

In conclusion, I command you to drop your test tubes and listen. Autism made me a better person.
